Puffins are wonderful aren't they? I never tire of seeing them, and have been lucky to get very close to them several times in various parts of Scotland.

If I am being honest, it was the one thing that I was most looking forward to. I was sad when I was hearing that nobody was seeing them and thinking I wasn’t going to have the opportunity. So you can imagine my elation when they were everywhere on that morning. A highlight of my trip without question.

Love your manifested, magical encounter! Iceland is on my bucket list. Also, FYI, you mentioned Florida as your place of residence in this article, then I get to the end of it and see that the name of your Substack is called The Wicked Pissah. “Wait a second,” I says to myself! “This gal must be a transplant from New England!”

Signed,

A gal from MA

As I keep telling everyone, it is an absolute MUST to go. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do it.

And yes, as I laugh to myself, indeed I am. Born in Salem and raised in the Salem/Peabody/Wakefield areas (we moved a lot) until I was 12 and then we went south and have been here in Florida ever since.

So nice to meet you Chris and that you introduced yourself. I always love when I meet new fellow “wicked pissah” friends.

I grew up in Winchester but my grandparents lived in Swampscott and Marblehead, and we passed through the Peabody/Wakefield/Salem area often!

We have puffins in Northumberland. Next stop Alnwick!

This is a beautiful, magical story about love, puffins and sons.
